How far can I take the trailer ? -
Our km limit is 130 km from PG.
as most our renters are using our services for local camping and reunions ect .
Rentals to Alaska or Alberta quickly lost its value due to extensive damage and wear and tear.
It was unlimited kms until some one left a trailer on the side of the road in Alberta because he dident have time to change the flat tire. So now its 130 km
Can i take the trailer on gravel roads
Sorry no. all of our recent damage is due to gravel roads, Not to mention the dust that gets everywhere inside. wash board \ pot hole, mud, oil sprayed gravel roads, rock dents ect...
Why do you count days not nights?
our customers want to start their adventure at the crack of dawn and bring the trailer back once the sun goes down, not wait until the pm like a hotel and end the adventure first thing in the morning!
Do I need insurance? -
Insurance is included in the price, but if an accident happens or the awning rips ect... the deductible will come from your damage deposit and any ICBC claims are your responsibility. Copy of registration is above the sink.
How clean does it really need to be when I bring it back? -
Pretend you’re borrowing it from your in-laws. We do stock each unit with cleaning supplies; wipes and a broom. We have never had to use a cleaning charge on anyone yet, people are pretty respectful!
If I brought the RV back early or cancel will I get money back?-
Unfortunately no you won’t,
How do I pay?-
We only accept online banking transfer or cash. Deposits are payed when booking your dates.Damage deposit and the rest of the rental cost must be paid at least 5 days before the pickup/ delivery date.
Will you show us how to light the pilots, operate the ac?-
When you pick up the travel trailer we will hook it up for you and show you how everything works. As for the pilots, it’s all automatic. We also have a "How Too" video page that shares a lot of good information!
Break downs and damage
Our km limit is 130 km from PG and no gravel roads
You are responsible for the awning, body damage, Power surges, undercarriage damage, locked keys, ect,,, anything that may be avoided while you are in the drivers seat. if its a break down that cant be fixed on the road we will have it towed to my shop and try to get you into another trailer if we have one or return a portion of the rent. We do not cover cost of meals, accommodations, transportation and any and all other expenses resulting from trailer breakdowns. We highly recommend you have bcaa. We only rent to people with experience with rv towing so that if you get a flat tire, find a burnt fuse or need to replace a wheel bearing on the side of the road you can fix it quickly and be on your way . and we will show our gratitude by paying you $50.00
Awnings/ ac
Our biggest expense is ,,,,you guessed it awnings and air conditioners. couldn't tell ya how often they come back ripped or in pieces and ac units running for 5 days straight. so now unfortunately we don't offer awning like most other rv rental company's
we suggest a simple pop up tent from Canadian Tire that has uses all year around
dry camping \no power
we suggest a small generator just to recharge the battery every evening before bed
We now sell awnings, good idea for the picnic table.
